1. Information we collect

We collect information you give us directly and information that is gathered automatically while you use the site.

Information you provide

• Contact details. Name, email address, phone number, and property address when you request an estimate, book a showroom visit, or subscribe to updates.
• Project details. Room type, scope of work, approximate budget range, timeline, and any notes, measurements, or photos you choose to send us.
• Appointment and visit records. Dates and times of showroom visits, in-home measures, and consultations.
• Financing inquiries. If you ask about financing, we pass your request to a third-party lending partner. We do not collect or store credit applications, Social Security numbers, or bank account details on this site.

Information collected automatically

• Usage data. Pages viewed, links and buttons clicked, forms started and completed, scroll depth, and time on page.
• Device and connection data. IP address, browser type, operating system, screen size, approximate location derived from IP, and the referring URL that brought you here.
• Marketing attribution. Campaign parameters in the URL, such as UTM tags and click identifiers from Google or Meta, stored in your browser so we can tell which campaign a request came from.

2. Cookies and tracking technologies

Cookies are small data files stored on your device. We use them, along with similar technologies such as pixels and browser storage, to keep the site working, measure traffic, and understand which marketing brings homeowners to us.

You can block or delete cookies in your browser settings, and most browsers offer a setting that limits cross-site tracking. Blocking cookies may stop parts of the site, including our estimate form, from working correctly.

We honor Global Privacy Control (GPC) signals sent by your browser where the law requires us to treat them as an opt-out of targeted advertising.

3. Phone calls and call tracking

We use call tracking to tell which marketing source produced a phone call. The number shown on the site may change depending on how you arrived, and calls are routed to our Alexandria showroom.

When you call us, we may record the number you called from, the date, time, and length of the call, and the marketing source associated with it. Calls may also be recorded or transcribed for quality, training, and record-keeping purposes. If you prefer not to be recorded, tell the person who answers and they will stop the recording or continue without it.

4. How we use your information

• Respond to estimate requests, questions, and appointment bookings.
• Prepare quotes, schedule measures, and manage your remodeling project.
• Operate, maintain, secure, and improve the site.
• Send newsletters, promotions, and project updates where you have consented.
• Measure marketing performance and decide where to spend advertising budget.
• Prevent fraud and abuse, and comply with legal obligations.

5. Text messages and consent

If you provide your mobile number and opt in, you agree to receive text messages from Pi Kitchen and Bath Alexandria about your estimate, appointment, or project, and occasional marketing messages.

• Reply STOP at any time to opt out. We will send one confirmation message and then stop.
• Reply HELP for assistance, or email alexandria@bykbs.com.
• Message frequency varies. Message and data rates may apply. Carriers are not liable for delayed or undelivered messages.
• To rejoin, opt in again the same way you did the first time.

6. Sharing your information

We share information with service providers who help us run our business, including our website host, form and CRM platform, email and SMS providers, call tracking provider, analytics and advertising platforms, financing partners you ask to be referred to, and installers or subcontractors assigned to your project. These providers are contractually required to protect your information and use it only to provide services to us.

We may also disclose information when required by law or legal process, or to protect the rights, safety, or property of Pi Kitchen and Bath Alexandria, our customers, or the public. If our business is sold or reorganized, customer information may transfer as part of that transaction.

We do not sell personal information for money. Some advertising cookies may qualify as “sharing” or “targeted advertising” under state privacy laws, and you can opt out as described below.

7. Your privacy rights

Depending on where you live, you may have the right to:

• Confirm whether we process your personal data and access a copy of it.
• Correct inaccurate or incomplete information.
• Request deletion, subject to records we must keep by law or for an active contract.
• Obtain a portable copy of data you provided to us.
• Opt out of targeted advertising, the sale of personal data, and profiling with legal or similarly significant effects.

8. Virginia residents

Under the Virginia Consumer Data Protection Act, Virginia residents have the rights listed above and may appeal a decision we make about a request. To appeal, reply to our response or email alexandria@bykbs.com with “Privacy Appeal” in the subject line. We will respond to an appeal within 60 days. If the appeal is denied, you may contact the Virginia Attorney General’s office to submit a complaint.

Residents of Maryland, the District of Columbia, and other states with comparable laws may submit requests through the same channels, and we will apply the protections their laws require.

9. Data retention

We keep personal information only as long as needed for the purposes described in this policy. Estimate requests that do not become projects are generally kept for our marketing records; project records, contracts, and warranty documentation are kept longer because tax, warranty, and construction record requirements apply. Analytics data is retained according to the settings of the platform that collects it.

10. Data security

We use reasonable administrative and technical safeguards to protect the information we hold, including encrypted connections on this site and access controls on our systems. No method of transmission or storage is completely secure, so we cannot guarantee absolute security. Please do not send sensitive information such as financial account numbers through the forms on this site.

11. Children’s privacy

This site is intended for adults. We do not knowingly collect personal information from anyone under 18. If you believe a minor has given us information, contact us and we will delete it.

12. Links to other websites

This site links to pages we do not operate, including manufacturer websites, review platforms, and financing partners. We are not responsible for their content or privacy practices. Review their policies before sharing information with them.

13. Changes to this policy

We may update this policy from time to time. Updates are posted on this page with a revised date at the top. Continued use of the site after an update means you accept the revised policy.
